HERE WE GO AGAIN!
Just When You Thought Things Would Quiet Down!
MUSIC FROM THE
OLDIES BUT GOODIES
People forget that those of us who grew up in Brooklyn speak many languages:
I speak three languages.
(1) When I was growing up, I spoke Brooklynese, A dialect used by most people born and bred in Brooklyn.
(2) As I grew up, joined the Air Force, went to work in the city (The city is what “Real Brooklyn” people call Manhattan), traveled the world, my language became different, more refined, some say. But every now and then I slip back to the language of my “yout”. Just ask me what my favorite morning beverage is!
(3) Last language I speak is “Sarcastic”. Not many people understand “Sarcastic”. Abe Lincoln nailed “Sarcastic”: “Mary, cancel our reservations for the show tonight! Something is wrong on the internet! I have to fix it!”
Search YouTube for George Carlin. He explains “Sarcastic” better than I!
